Anomalies

This functionality is available for Cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI, with the exception of IBM Cloud.

It is a Lighthouse feature that detects unexpected changes in the consumption pattern of cloud services and resources.

The Lighthouse works with usage trend mapping models, making it possible to identify anomalies at the service, resource or even application level, depending on the Billing tagging level or enrichment of your organization's data in the Organizational Map. When an anomaly is identified, Lighthouse allows you to configure an email to notify those responsible.

Lighthouse segments anomalies into two groups:

- Infrastructure anomalies:

In this group, anomalies in services and resources are detected, segmented by the main Billing information: account, resource group, services and region.

- Business anomalies:

In this group, anomaly detection is segmented based on business rules created according to the particularities of each company, for example: Department or Cost Center, Projects, Products and Applications.

How to get to Anomalies:

  1. In the Lighthouse side feature menu, select Anomalies:

  1. The system will display the following anomaly options:

  • Infrastructure anomalies

  • Business anomalies
