VM
How to get to VM:
In Smart Instances, select the VM option

The system will open the Smart Instance main screen with the option to add a new configuration.

By clicking the Add button, the system will display the screen to create a Smart Instance configuration.
Properties Information: Enter the new Smart Instance configuration data and press the Next button.
Smart Instance Name: Enter the name that will be assigned to the Smart Instance
Cloud Account: Select the account that will be used to the Smart Instance

Filters Information: Enter the filter type data and press the Next button.

⇒ Filter Type: Enter the type of filter that will be used, in this case Tag.

⇒ Expression: Select the expression that will be applied to the filter type (CONTAINS, DOES NOT CONTAIN)

⇒ Key and Value: Enter the key and key value that will be used.

Then click Add to create the filter.

The system allows you to edit a filter by clicking on the "" button or delete it by clicking on the "
" button.
Metrics Information: Enter the Metrics data and press the Save button.
Timezone: Select the time zone that will be used
Configuration for Linux VMs:
Minimum vCPU utilization: Enter the minimum percentage of vCPU that will be used
Minimum RAM utilization: Enter the minimum percentage of RAM that will be used
Aggregation: Choose between Maximum, Minimum and Average
Configuration for Windows VMs:
Minimum vCPU utilization: Enter the minimum percentage of vCPU that will be used
Minimum RAM utilization: Enter the minimum percentage of RAM that will be used
Aggregation: Choose between Maximum, Minimum and Average

By clicking the Save button, the system will complete the Smart Instance configuration and return to the main screen, where you can view the created configurations:

Filters:
Search: Its possible to search by Name, Region, or Cloud Account.

Status: In addition to filtering by Active, Inactive or All status.

Actions:
View Report: Clicking on the "
" icon, as illustrated below:

The system will display the screen to view the report.

We will go into more detail about Smart Instance's reporting functionality later on.
Edit: By clicking on the "
" icon, the system will allow you to edit the Smart Instance information.

Delete: By clicking on the "
" icon, it is possible to remove the created Smart Instance

The system will display a message asking you to confirm the action.

Confirming that you are aware and wish to continue, the system will enable the button to complete the removal.
