Objective

This documentation describes how to configure a hostname of type "Resource Name" on AWS resources (such as EC2 instances) to ensure correct data mapping in integration systems with the k8s module.

If this configuration is applied after the cluster has been created, the instances must be deleted for the change to take effect.

Step-by-Step – Configuration via AWS Console

Access the VPC Service

• Log in to the AWS Console

• In the Services menu, select VPC

Locate the Subnet

• In the left-hand menu, click Subnets

• Find the desired subnet in the list (e.g., subnet-0e0b28b1709a8e215)

• Click the subnet ID to open its details

Edit Subnet Settings

• In the Details tab, click the Actions button in the upper-right corner

• Select Edit subnet settings
